Holidays and Vacations App Reviews

This a quick index of holidays by country that also shows which day of the week each one falls on. You can include more than one countrys holidays to display. Very handy! It would be nice to see the solstices, equinoxes, and first day of seasons included. Otherwise, great app!

Only big date I see missing is US Mothers Day

App stinks. No religious holidays included, not even Easter! Gimme a break.

Many reviews state that it doesnt include standard US religious holidays. However, if you click on the globe icon in the upper left corner this brings you to setting where you can enable/disable holidays such as Easter, for example. Once you make the changes you have to click done. The changes will not be updated automatically. You must first close the app altogether then reopen it--there you will see all the holidays the changes that you have made i.e. the holiday you have enabled/disabled.

Simple to setup. Easy to navigate. Great features. Includes all standard holidays - Plus you can turn on others like Easter, etc, with one touch. Try it and you will see that only the most simple minded are unable to use this very easy app. Only those who who are not able to read or use the intuitive functions of the iPhone will have problems. The few that refuse to keep their OS up to date are likely to complain about errors. The rest will enjoy this great little app and see that it delivers everything it promises.

It doesnt include many major holidays! Not worth installing.

Will not open on my iPod Touch since the latest update. I have restored to the previous version and will check back later to see if you will fix the problem in a later update.

I like the fact you can pick and choose which holidays you want displayed. On a personal note I wish May Day, Cinco de Mayo, Mardi Gras, Girl Scouts and National Scrapbook Holidays were on the list :)

Bad. Terrible... I dont even know where to begin... 

This app would be awesome if it had important days as well as holidays. But as it stands, it only gives the most basic days. There is nothing about Bosss Day, Cancer Awareness Month, Teachers Appreciation Day, etc.

This app can be helpful at times. Would be great if they added a feature that allows you to add your companies paid holidays or at least hi light those days.

This is a free app To the idiots saying there are missing holidays: first, try switching the holidays to on... Second, "holidays" like Teacher Appreciation day arent acknowledged by the majority of the population. Youre a teacher. Thats the only reason you care. All in all, for a free app that reminds you when all the popular holidays are, this is great.

You need to check out your holidays- some are placed wrong! e.g., Shavuot occurs 50 days AFTER Passover, not before it!

I would love it if you could import your regions calendar into the iPads default calendar. Otherwise, I like this app a bunch.
